Step back in time at Southern California’s largest American Revolution reenactment, where families can watch live battle reenactments, explore historic camps, and see living history demonstrations that bring the 18th century to life. Kids can participate in hands-on activities like the “Spy for General Washington” program, learn marching drills with the Continental Army, and watch artillery demonstrations, cooking demos, and colonial dancing. The event is free and open to the public, with food available for purchase on site. Battles include loud cannon and musket sounds, which younger children may find surprising. Public parking is available at the Central Library and paid parking at the Sports Center, and families are encouraged to arrive early to explore the camps and activities before the battle demonstrations begin.
